Job Opportunity | Lead Product Engineer
KeenConnect Consulting is currently supporting one of our clients in the electronics manufacturing sector to appoint an experienced Lead Product Engineer .
This opportunity would suit an engineering professional with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys being close to both the technical side of the product and the people behind the operation .
The successful candidate will take a leading role within the Product Engineering function, guiding engineers and technicians while working closely with customers, suppliers, production, quality, and other internal stakeholders.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting the Product Engineering team
- Managing engineering performance and key departmental KPIs
- Supporting new product introduction and project execution
- Providing technical support and solutions for customer-related product matters
- Reviewing product specifications, drawings, and technical documentation
- Supporting supplier and component evaluation activities
- Ensuring engineering deliverables support production quality, cost, and timeline expectations
- Driving practical improvements across product and manufacturing processes
We'd Like to Meet Candidates With:
- A degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical & Electronic, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related disciplines
- Around 10+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing
- Solid exposure to wire harness products or manufacturing environments
- Proven experience leading or supervising engineering teams
- Strong technical judgment and problem-solving capability
- The ability to work confidently with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
- Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Mandarin would be an added advantage
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure would be beneficial
